It is a cyclic departmental affair during the festive period in an effort to gather the working people from various groups for a get-together and to foster closer working relationship; in short, a social linkage opportunity:)
Being part of the organizing committee, I seldom missed any of this event and furthermore, I was selected as the MC for this event this round:)
The banners were hung up in the huge cafeteria to pipe up the celebrating mood among the employees.
The organizing committee were mostly there an hour ahead to help out with the preparations and setup.

It was all in all a splendid and joyous affair and definitely a welcoming break from the busy work schedule.
